Later....
Car secured, we wandered downtown Brisbane, also lining up a hotel for April 20 before we go to Sydney. Brisbane struck us as energized, dynamic and modern, and we will be back here in a few days. Lunch on the cafe row on the water (a passerby showed us the flood level, which would have reached our feet at five meters above the norm). Mid afternoon we started back to Redcliffe, getting lost only once with my stunning navigation. When one is already driving on the other side of the road, and encounters a roundabout (pay attention Ann), one must enter from the left and watch on the right....which can cause both front seaters to exclaim, “We are gonna die”....anyway, we have this down pat and are doing well but one does have to pay attention. Now in for the eve, tomorrow up to Montville, then to Noosa.... still beautiful sunny in the 80’s weather. Sigh.
